"Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.

But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay."

Because I loved book number one.

Because shifters are awesome. (How often do you come across a gargoyle?)
I think the title of this post says it all. ROTH!

Only a couple more weeks to go!

What is your Waiting On Wednesday pick this week?

  1. I haven't read the first one yet but I've heard many great things about these books! I hope you enjoy it!
    Here's my WoW: http://thecouchpotatoesdigest.blogspot.com/2014/10/waiting-on-wednesday-firefight.html

    1. They were pretty good if you mind a little romance heavy plot.

      Thank you for stopping by.

  2. This is actually my WoW for today too! I can't wait to read this book =D I really liked Roth in the first book but I'm still curious to see if I'll like Zayne more in this next book. Did you see JLA's blog post about letting readers choose who she ends up with in the third book? Very interesting :)

    1. Great minds think alike! I loved Roth in book one. But I think Zayne has a real shot at stealing my heart if certain things happen in book two. I know! I'm so excited. I really cannot believe they are actually letting us pick. I'm going to end up voting, I'm just not sure who yet.

      Thank you for stopping by.
