Paper Bindings | Top Ten Tuesday - Crying Books (33)
A weekly book meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's theme is the Top Ten Seven Books That Will Make You Cry.

Since I cry very easily, I've only included the really emotional ones I could think of.

Because Sherrilyn Kenyon is the queen of tortured-tortued heroes:

(Really, I could just list most of her books here.)

01-02.  Styxx (Dark Hunters #22) and Born of Silence (The League #6 ) by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Because it is a toss up on who had the s*****r life, Styxx or Darling. Oh, my poor, poor tortured heroes. While a lot of bad things happen to them, a lot of it is stuff they are powerless to stop. But these books are more than that, they are about taking the crap life tosses at you and OVERCOMING them. Emotional me, cried a lot.

Long ago reads:

03.  Where The Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls - If you don't know what moment made me cry, then you haven't read the book.

04.  Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chobosky - Kind of the wrong book to read when you are in a depressed mood.

05. The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger - I'm not sure why really, but I kind of identified with the hero.

Because it hit too close to home:

06. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton -This ending killed me. The book struck a place that's close to home, especially towards the end, and I just lost it. *cries into tissue*

07. The F-It List by Julie Halpern - Cancer. Enough said.

What is your Top Ten this week?
