A moment of passion could cost Daphne her reputation, but how can she ignore the stranger's searing kiss?

An Arrangement Most Wicked

A friend of Lady Daphne Bevington has gotten into some trouble. Determined to help her out, Daphne goes off without much of a plan beyond hoping she can come up with agreement to settle the debt. Which is why she shouldn't be surprised when things go horribly wrong. But luck would have it that Lord Cormack Northman -who is in the shady sector chasing his own demonds- is there to rescue her when things go bad. Though neither knows who the other truly is, it isn't long before fate forces them to see the truth.

I really liked these two. They complemented each other very well. She is fiercely loyal, undoubtedly brave, and more than a little admirable. He is resourceful, driven, and swoon-worthy. The relationship between these two progresses naturally and is believable. I loved getting to know them, and I loved watching them getting to know each other. Add in some danger and vengeance, and you have one great story.

The story was very entertaining. I cannot say much about it because I do not want to give it away. But the pages flew by. The closer Cormack gets to finding the man who hurt his sister, the more danger the duo find themselves in. And the more I loved this book. It had all the elements I love in romance books, a believably cute couple, humor, great storyline and subplots, and was well written.

Lily Dalton is a new favorite historical romance author of mine. I am looking forward for more books to be published in the future.
