Waiting on...Ignition (31)

Weekly book Meme hosted Breaking the Spine.

Title: Ignite Me (#3)
Author: Tahereh Mafi
Genre: YA - Dystopian
Release Date: February 4th, 2014

Goodreads

"Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she'll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.

In Shatter Me, Tahereh Mafi created a captivating and original story that combined the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." The sequel, Unravel Me, blew readers away with heart-racing twists and turns, and New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia said it was "dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense." Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and climactic end."

Why?:

Because decisions must be made, hearts followed, and a guy to choose. This was one of those series where I have no idea what hooked me and pulled me into the world, but I am determined to see the adventure through to the end.

  1. I haven't read "Shatter Me" yet, but maybe the release of the final book in the series will encourage to finally pick it up.

    1. I must admit Shatter Me wasn't what I expected at all. I started it and was all "what the?" But I quickly grew amused and entertained by the plot. Waiting isn't a bad plan. If you like them, you'll have them all available for a quick marathon.

      Thank you for stopping by.

  4. I have Shatter Me waiting to be read, though i think i may wait the extra couple of weeks until Ignite Me is released so i don't have the long intra-series wait! Great to here that people are excited for the final book though, makes me excited to start reading the series! :)

    1. That sounds like a good plan. A lot happens....that turns wait time into stay sane while waiting time. 0_-

I've come into a few series later than others because I've seen such a huge amount of blogging/reviews/anticipation about the last or latest book in the series. Personally I think it's kind of fun falling for a book, then being able to turn around and get them all. My wallet on the other hand hates it when I get in those moods.

      Thank you for stopping by.

  5. I'm so conflicted about who I'm rooting for. I think it's still Team Adam because I hate change but after Fracture Me...idk. I still have no idea how it's all going to end, which is driving me crazy. I have so much hope for the ending too, and I hope that it lives up to expectations.

    1. I never liked Adam, he annoyed me. So I guess I've always been Team Warner. Except, I don't think I actually liked the pairing until book two. I think he understands her in a what Adam doesn't and might never be able to. I think she needs that in a way.

      But I just don't know....

I think I'd like the fact that it could go either way at this point, except I just don't like Adam...I super excited to find out who she chooses. Of course, she could not choose anyone and I think that might somehow fit her too.

      Thanks for stopping by Aly.
