Temptation In A Bottle is the story of Gage, an Inanu. The Inanu are the children of the Goddess Inanna. Think of them like a cross between genies and incubus, only they are prisoners to their bottles and purpose, and this particular Inanu wants out. But when he sees Sasha, there is a lure there that has nothing to do with his purpose in living. Meanwhile, Sasha has about had enough. She's tired of being fixed up with men who ultimately disappoint her, and she doesn't believe in love. But meeting the child of the Goddess of love, could just change all that.

Novellas are a tricky thing in my opinion. You got to cram in a story, and character development into only a handful of pages. So it takes a lot for a novella to win me over. But from page one, I was hooked. The whole concept sounded interesting, the children of the Goddess of Love trapped in bottles until summoned by their masters. And all he wants out of life, is a life, a chance to exist and make his own decisions. A very admirable, and a goal I could relate with.

Sasha, on the other hand, is at the point in her life where she needs more than what is being offered to her. She's on an edge, and is looking for something, she just doesn't know what. But when she sees Gage, she's fighting more than an attraction to him. She is fighting the fears she's buried deep.

I won't say much about the plot itself since I don't wish to give anything away. But it was a cute, quick read. I enjoyed the story enough that I am planning on reading the first novella in the series as soon as I can. If you like paranormal romances, you may enjoy this story.

"Family brought out the best in everyone." (Sasha)

"Perhaps he was only real because someone wanted him to be." (Gage)

"If I knew that, I'd be God." (the nurse)
